How to choose the right Watch clasp or watch buckle for your watches?

As we all know the Watch Clasp or Watch Buckle is very important to secure the watch on your wrist. How to choose the right one for your watch? First, we need to know how many types clasp or buckle.

1. Pin Buckle or Tongue Buckle, it is most common one for most Leather strap, Rubber Strap and textile strap. there are several shapes for buckles, square, round and Horseshoe, and the Pin also has requirement as it has to fit the hole on strap. Pin width: 2mm, 3mm, or 4mm depends on the design. Pls see below photo.

2. Butterfly Clasp or Hidden clasp, it likes the butterfly with 2 wings when open the clasp. and there are 2 hings to fit the wings. they are under the toplink with switch to open wings. this is why called hidden clasp too. It is the most common clasp for Stainless Steel Watch Band. it is solid stainless steel with toplink for logo laser too.

3. Deployment Clasp, it is a modified clasp from butterfly clasp, with same function with extra link for Watch Strap closures. This design clasp with more mechanism works. Mainly for Leather Watch Strap for Luxury Watch.

4. Jewelry Clasp, It is mainly for Watch Bracelet of Jewelry watch. normally it is slim ladies watch with nice bracelet. The latch hook to attach snap for closing. i think it needs some skill for closusre. it is not so convenient as butterfly clasp.

5. Velcro Clasp, it mades on leather, nylon and braided strap with a hook and loop. one long strap with Velcro material to attached hook on short strap for closure, it is easy to adjust the size acc to your wrist. Mainly for outdoor and Sports Watch. esp for kid watch.

6. Sliding Clasp, it is mainly for Mesh Watch Band. it is easy to adjust the length of Watch Band . As the back of mesh has stage to hold the sliding clasp. material would be 304 stainless steel.

Based on above info, i am sure you know what you need for your watch. Except above info, the Clasp width would be even numbers, like 10mm, 12mm, 14mm. 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 24mm. if you ask for odd number like 19mm or 21mm. have to pay the mould new production. no stock for them.
