Is Vintage watch okey for daily wearing?

Before talking that, first we need to know what is vintage watch. how to define it. Generally, the watch to be said over 30-35 years old up as Vintage watch. but it is not only ages of watch, to distinguish it from Retro, Antique or just old watches. but also with some characteristics, like timeless, classic, functional, the most important, high quality workmanship and build.
normally the vintage watches have a fascinating story or historical significance.

But still there are some reasons for vintage watch is not suitable for daily
1. Magnetism, nowadays we have more equipments and electric applicances in our lives, then more chance or high risk for mechanics. the modern watches consider to be resisant for higher magnetic fields. Vintage watches have this trouble.
2. water-resistance, all watches to be produced in water-resistant. but over 30 years, the gaskets wear out and crown gasket too. the there are more chance to leak than New Watches
3. type of glass, these older watches hardly have the glass as same quality as modern one. some of them in Plastic, or Mineral Glass, no existing for sapphire crystal yet. we all don't like to wear the watch in scratched glass.
4. Serive and spare parts, this point is most important reason why no use vintage watch for your daily. Vintage watches have a regular service for it. service incl clean old lubricants out and relubricating the movement. sometimes also need maintain and repair the components. but there are a big possibility these components are not existing any more.
